Customers are not willing to invest energy and time to understand why a supplier is mishandling, ignoring or neglecting them. Interestingly enough, we are perfectly able to analyze when, why and how a customer left us and switched to competition. Or when, why and how quality staff left without really saying why. Or when, why and how investments failed to meet expected returns. But we rarely go the crucial next steps.
